Animal Trapping Service

When you home has been invaded by a wild animal, you don't have to kill them or damage your home to get rid of them. Our animal control company provides utilizes different techniques to safely remove these animals from your home and keep them out. With our catch and pass-through traps, you'll know that the animal is out of your home and that it is being handled with proper care.  With a standard trap we can safely catch the animal and determine the next step. Additionally, we help you identify and locate paths the animal used to get inside your home and assist you in closing them off.

Many customers also appreciate our decision to keep our service vehicles unmarked.  You may be dealing with a personal nightmare with critters, but it should be your decision whether or not the neighbors should know about it.

Why Exclusion?

The animal you hear scratching in your attic--or that you smell under your deck--is there for a reason.  Animals make decisions for survival, and your home currently has some attractive offers.  Your attic is safe and warm.  Under your house, deck and shed an animal finds shelter and protection.  Your garden is a wonderful source of food.  The animal that currently is presenting a problem, well, once it is removed it may be replaced by another.  Exclusion provides you with the tools to keep future animals from coming back.  Also, at this time, relocation of animals is not allowed by law.  Once an animal is safely trapped, the access point can be blocked (exclusion) and once released, the animal will find another, more appropriate home.

Pesticide-Free Services

Space Invaders Trapping and Exclusion does not use restricted-use products or pesticides when providing our animal trapping and pest control services. Pesticides are dangerous to use for both the animal and your family. These chemicals can leak into your water, home, or lawn and cause harm to young children and pets. Let us show you a better way of pest control with our animal trapping services.

Bird Exclusion

We offer innovative solutions for problems with birds, both in commercial and residential settings.  Contact us for a no-obligation solution to your bird problem.  Please note, Space Invaders does not offer any poisonous solutions, and will not be able to help with the instillation of these systems.  We believe that professional exclusion is the answer; and in addition to exclusion, there are several options.

Exclusion literally blocks access and there is no way for a bird to enter.  This is sometimes the only option when birds are dedicated to a particular site.  Before the bird problem becomes to big, there are a variety of options used for prevention, for example, bird spikes, electric track and even deterrents that use reflected light.  We are skilled at choosing the right product for the right situation, contact us today!

Pigeons are a common problem in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.  They are highly adaptable to urban settings and are commonly encountered every day.  Pigeon droppings are not only unsightly, but are also hazardous. The nesting sites used by pigeons harbor parasites that can transfer to humans and pets as new hosts.  Pigeon droppings make ledges, roof lines, entry ways and sidewalks look unsightly.  Do not just sweep them up without proper protection!  Many shop owners, employees and home owners are put at risk when pigeon droppings are just swept up using a broom, improper vacuum and we've even seen when a blower was used!  Follow this link to an example where a company was fined by OSHA because they hired a clean-up company that was ignorant to the dangers involved in the clean-up of pigeon droppings.  Pigeon droppings also clog drains and their corrosive nature causes major stains and even structural damage.  We can help with the clean-up, but the common sense solution is to prevent the the problem from ever becoming a problem!  Exclusion works!

Barn Swallows are a problem for many residences and commercial buildings.  They are fascinating to watch as they are innovative and industrious.  However, problems arise when they arrive in large numbers, creating unsightly messes as their droppings cover the walls and sidewalks near their nesting areas.  These are protected once they occupy the nest, so preventative action is best!

Woodpeckers are very destructive and are protected as well.  We have several solutions to these destructive birds, contact us to discuss your unique situation!

Pictured left and right are some examples of excluding barn swallows with the use of black netting.  The netting is nearly invisible from a distance and when viewed in anything but direct sunlight, it looks like a shadow even when viewed up close.  The owners of this Sonoma County home were thrilled with the results and are super excited that the swallows will have to find another, more appropriate nesting place when they arrive this season!

Critter Exclusion

Raccoon, skunks, opossums, squirrels and rats are very opportunistic and would love to make your home their den site.  A raccoon can  be very destructive, breaking vents, pulling shingles and even siding to gain entry into your residence.  They love attics and also the areas under bathtubs.  A skunk is willing to dig to widen any holes that may exist around your foundation and move into the sub-floor area of your home. Rodents love to gnaw and will exploit any small opening, making it wide enough for them to gain entry.  All of these pests can do serious damage while in your home; damaging ducts, chewing electrical wires, destroying insulation... all the while creating horrible smells, inviting parasites, harmful viruses and bacteria into your home or business.

These two pictures were taken on the roof-lines of two different houses, but give an example of the diversity of repairs that we deal with each week.  The one to the left was dealing with larger critters, while the one on the right was a repair to a gap that was being used by rodents.  Super excited, the owner of this house left me a wonderful review on Yelp.  See why our customers love us, love our customer service and appreciate our quality repairs!
